Koyuncu Salt Attended World Salt Congress

The Roskill 2019 Congress, which brings together the world's leading salt producers, suppliers and academics, was held in Amsterdam. Koyuncu Salt company executives also shared with the participants information about Turkey's salt production at the event.

In the Congress; it was announced that app. 3 - 4% of the salt production in the world is realized in our country which means that 1- 2% of the salt production in the world is realized only by our company.

The importance of salt producers for the development of the chemical industry, which constitutes the majority of the uses of salt produced in the world, has been discussed.

In addition, some studies on food salt proving that lake salt is much cleaner than sea salt in terms of micropolastic inclusion were also shared in the congress.
